East Africa, more than a Safari
Disappearing Cultures Foundation made three expeditions to Nilo-Hamite people such as Turkana, Maasai and Samburu tribes, and also visited cultures around the Swahili cost line in 2002-2003. During these expeditions we documented numerous facts about their traditions, like the precious ceremony of a Turkana wedding. The result of these expeditions was published in a 240 pages book which includes photographs, drawings and maps from the life of these cultures. (Kelet-Afrika több mint szafari, Author and photographer Attila Lóránt.Published by Alexandra, Budapest 2003.) From this material five exhibitions and several lectures have been made.
